FOX is ramping up the marketing buzz for a new series, "Running Wilde", starring Will Arnett and Kerri Russell. Based on an early trailer, there's a lot to like, and some things that may tick off environmentalists.

The plotline, which frankly could have been mad-libbed with conflicting personalities, features a big oil playboy (Arnett) attempting to court his environmental activist childhood sweetheart (Russell). Unfortunately, Russell's character is currently fighting Arnett's father's oil company to prevent the company from drilling under the feet of an indigenous Indian tribe in the Amazon.

Something tells me one of the producers saw the environmental documentary "CRUDE".

Anyways, I can see some people taking offense to the way the Amazonian tribe is represented — particularly when Arnett's character has them all relocated to his pool house. No doubt, there will also be some hints of mockery towards Russell's humanitarian efforts. Let's just hope the jibs and jabs are balanced. We all know big oil is worthy of some pretty large insults these days.
