Over the past few years, we have seen planking, lip dubbing, the Ice Bucket Challenge and the Harlem Shake. Now, the latest fad to take over the internet is the #MannequinChallenge in which participants are required to freeze and do absolutely nothing.

But doing nothing is no easy task. For the Mannequin Challenge videos, participants must hold a pose for the length of the video while someone with a video camera walks through the scene. And it's become quite the competition to see who can freeze in the most elaborate poses possible.

Like most viral trends, teens are leading the way with the Mannequin Challenge, with most videos coming in from locker rooms, high school cafeterias and playing fields.

Pretty quickly, the Mannequin Challenge videos went pro, with teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Giants and the Buffalo Bills getting in on the fun.

Not to be outdone, Kevin Hart and his gym buddies got together for this hilarious #MannequinChallenge:

But seriously...this cat. There is no doubt that this count just won the Internet with this performance:

Frozen newsfeed? Nope, Mannequin Challenge
From locker rooms to high school cafeterias, people are striking a pose for the internet's latest trend.
