Are you a tall, single man interested in the outdoors, an energetic lifestyle, and, perhaps, older ladies? Well congrats, you may just find yourself on a blind date with Martha Stewart.
The 71-year-old age-defying media mogul has decided to join the online dating pool, telling Matt Lauer in an interview to air later this week that she loves dating — but has yet to find her soulmate.
“Well, I had a long-time boyfriend. That ended a couple years ago. And I haven't found the next Mr. Right,” she said.
Stewart, who once dated Anthony Hopkins, only to end the relationship after seeing "Silence of the Lambs," even managed to shock Lauer with her bluntness.
“I’d like to have breakfast with somebody," she admitted. "I’d like to go to bed with somebody. Sleep with somebody.”
While Stewart was ready to go full bore with her dating profile — including a picture and her real name — Match.com’s chief executive, Sam Yagan, advised against it.
"Only because I think it would be distracting to those initial conversations you have where everyone is going to be about talking to Martha, as opposed to really getting to know the person first," he said.

When questioned by Lauer as to what type of man she's looking for, Stewart listed “energetic, outdoorish" and "really smart” as the top characteristics. The rest of her Match.com profile, however, might take some time to round out.
“I started to laugh halfway down the page. It was, like, impossible,” she said.
