Maybe it's because I just started classes and am taking a math course (in case you missed the news, I'm going back to college), but I knew I had to share this video on MNN as soon as I saw it. Self-described "Mathemusician" Vi Hart has taken squiggling — a subset of doodling that focuses on looping images made up of one continuous line — to a whole new level. It's at once scientific, organic, refined and fun.

Vi has a great YouTube channel with a bunch of great math/science videos. All are equally delightful. Her video describing the science and mathematics of sound, frequency and pitch is brilliant.

She is really good at describing complex things in a simple way.

Swing over, watch a few videos and subscribe to her channel.
