For the third time in a career spanning more than seven decades, Betty White has been named “America’s most appealing celebrity” by a marketing research firm.

The 91-year-old "Hot in Cleveland" star leads a pack of other notable celebs like Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, Adele and Morgan Freeman as part of E-Poll Market Research's annual "appeal" list for 2012. The survey ranks 7,500 celebrities based on a national sample of 1,100 American respondents age 13 and up.

White's latest honor is a testament to her legacy and talent, a climb that began in 1939 and has resulted in two SAG awards, a Grammy and seven Emmys.

"Best thing about being in your 90s is you're spoiled rotten," she said earlier this year. "Everybody spoils you like mad, and they treat you with such respect because you're old. Little do they know, you haven't changed. You haven't changed in [the brain]. You're just 90 every place else."

"Now that I'm 91, as opposed to being 90, I'm much wiser," she added. "I'm much more aware — and I'm much sexier."
