As if fans of Robert Pattinson didn't already have enough reasons to love him.
The 26-year-old actor appeared on "Ellen" today as part of publicity for the final film in the "Twilight" series, "Breaking Dawn Part 2," which hits theaters next week. While the interview focused on all sorts of things, one of the best moments was when Pattinson shared a bit about his dog, Bear.
The actor was shooting on location when he decided to visit a local animal shelter and spotted the pup.
"A couple of days a later, just by coincidence, I had to go back to L.A ... and we had like a private plane. So I took him from the worst pound in Monroe, Louisiana, and he was sitting on a little private jet the next day.
"We were staying at the Four Seasons after (that) and I didn't have any dog food, so I got him a plate of prosciutto."
Pattinson went on tell that Ellen that he's absolutely in love with the mutt, as is his girlfriend Kristen Stewart, who refers to the dog as "her child."
Meanwhile, RadarOnline is reporting that Stewart and Pattinson are planning to provide Bear with a playmate this holiday season.
“Just like with Bear, they’re going to scour petfinder.com, as well as a few high-kill shelters to find the perfect pal for their beloved pooch," a source told the site. "Kristen and Robert will be spending Thanksgiving together and are hoping to have a new addition to the family before then."
“They haven’t got a preference with the breed, but are leaning towards the idea of a female friend for Bear," they added.
