For those ladies wondering how they might win the heart of People magazine's recently crowned "Sexiest Man Alive," Bradley Cooper, I've got two words for you: rescue dogs.
The 36-year-old "Hangover" actor has for years professed his love for his two canine companions — telling People magazine in 2009 that they're his kids. "I have two beautiful dogs … I cherish. Samson is a 14-year-old German short hair pointer and Charlotte is a 6- or 7-year-old chow retriever mix. They are both rescue dogs and they are the best … I’m sort of a hybrid of both my dogs. Samson is stoic and makes me earn it and Charlotte loves me undyingly."
Sadly, Samson passed away shortly after that interview, prompting Cooper to immortalize him in a stunning giant photo above his kitchen table. Copper recently told that magazine that he and Charlotte are still the best of pals, and even though he's not supposed to, he'll sneak her on-set and into his trailer.
Such is the bond between the star and his dog that People even featured a gallery of the pair in announcing Cooper as their sexy pick.
For any organization looking to promote adopting a dog from a shelter, Bradley seems like a slam dunk. You can see the star next as the archangel Lucifer in an action-heavy take on the classic poem, "Paradise Lost."
