While spring is very much a sigh of relief for much of the U.S., there are some regions that are trading the relative calm of winter for the tumultuous months of tornado season. From March through June, warm, moist air meeting cooler, dry air, can lead to instability in the atmosphere; spawning deadly twisters and thunder storms. Last year, 53 people died from an estimated 811 tornadoes in the U.S.

With this in mind, there's bound to be many, many people that find it difficult to watch the new trailer for New Line's disaster film "Into the Storm." Not only is this sneak peek effective at raising the hairs on the back of your neck, but it also brings to mind recent events - such as the devastating EF-5 tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma last year. This being Hollywood, however, it looks like we're in for a storm straight out of the imagination of Michael Bay. If easy to see this being the natural sequel to the 1996 film "Twister" - but on steroids.

For the full effect, put on some headphones and check out the trailer below. Whoever created it, did a masterful job of simply letting the sound of one of nature's most furious storms make the introduction.

"Into the Storm" is slated for release August 8th.
