Ever since we first heard the astonishing news last summer that an actual live-action "Captain Planet" movie was in development, imaginations have been running wild into how filmmakers might pull it off.

While certainly low-budget, this awesome fan-made trailer for a "Captain Planet" film does a decent job of introducing our favorite Planeteers as living/breathing superheroes. And there are some pretty cool moments — such as when Wheeler throws fire or Kwame rocks the earth. Sure, Captain Planet may not look as intimidating as one might expect (or as foul-mouthed as Don Cheadle's hilarious "Funny Or Die" version), but I applaud the effort nonetheless.

The power is yours below.
