This festival in Ozark, Ark., features music that spans all genres. The beauty of rural Arkansas is on display outside of the concert areas, while the likes of Ben Harper, Mumford and Sons, and Thievery Corporation headline the show. Plenty of lesser known, but equally talented bands also take the stage over the four days of Wakarusa. This is a true "outdoor" festival — most attendees choosing to camp — with a network of trails that wind through the forests surrounding the festival area. There are also some quirky extras here like a carnival with a giant Ferris wheel and a late-night "silent" dance party.
