Sandy Schimmel Gold's portraits

Sandy Schimmel Gold's custom portraits sell for up to $10,000 — quite a price considering they're made from junk mail and other upcycled materials. The artist uses only nontoxic materials and creates images and text from thousands of seemingly incongruent pieces, assembling them like a mosaic to create life-like images.
