Sister Cristina Scuccia, the singing nun who made headlines after shocking judges on the Italian talent show "The Voice," won the contest and thanked God for her victory.

The 25-year-old won a record contract with Universal, but says her focus will remain on God.

Sister Cristina said she auditioned for the show because she wanted to follow Pope Francis' request to bring the Catholic Church closer to ordinary people.
