San Francisco

With all its fresh seafood and its status as a melting pot of cultures from around the world, it is certainly not a surprise that San Francisco is one of the best cities for eating in the U.S. From dim sum and sushi to pasta and opulent fine dining establishments, it is possible to feel like your taste buds have traveled around the world after only a couple of days exploring the Bay Area food scene. Companies like Local Taste of the City offer themed tours, through Chinatown for example, and general tours that are designed to introduce tourists to all that San Fran's best cooks have to offer.
