Don’t go home without a … Jell-O Brain Mold
Just follow the Jell-O Brick Road … Located in the quaint burg of Le Roy in New York’s Finger Lakes region is a small but lively museum dedicated to the gelatin-based dessert that put the town on the map during the turn of the century — long before Bill Cosby entered the picture. Filled with vintage advertisements and all sorts of historical artifacts relating to your Great Aunt Edna’s holiday salad ingredient of choice, the Jell-O Gallery doesn’t shy away from the fact that powered gelatin is made from collagen extracted from slaughterhouse leftovers (bones, connective tissues, intestines) so it’s best to have that “talk” with any sensitive young Jell-O lovers before visiting.
