Phantom Ranch

Hiking in the Grand Canyon and looking for a place to rest your head and feet? Look no further than this relaxing oasis tucked in below the canyon rim. The Phantom Ranch was built in 1922. Since then, it has served as a popular stop-over point for Colorado River rafters in addition to hikers and mule riders traveling to the bottom of the canyon by the Bright Angel or Kaibab trails. Because of the ranch's popularity, advance reservations are heavily recommended.
