The end-of-January sales are always a great time to get a good deal, and this year is no exception.
But instead of heading to the local mall to paw over the piles of sale merch, why not check out (and support) some of the women-owned eco boutiques online (there might be one in your city too; check this list to find out if you do
!). You will be contributing to a small business and one that spends its money in ethical ways too. No slave labor or polluting fabrics — and no guilt.
I've found some great deals, below, on items that will transform and update your look, and are all dramatically marked down. So if you thought eco fashion was too pricy, check out these pieces!
The VTW dress
by NYC eco fashion label Feral Childe is from their Fall Orchestra collection. Made from soft organic cotton, this dress would layer beautifully for chillier temps or look great all on its own. Was $192, Now $88 at Mission Savvy.
The Azuri Rose Garden Scarf
can be worn long and loose on warm days, or bundled around the neck when the colder wind is blowing. Was $200, now $30 at Nimli.
Collina Strada Vegan Cartella Bag. This will dress up the plainest outfit, or stand on its own with a wildly patterned dress. Was $265, Now $132.50 at Kaightshop.com
This L/S dress by Edun is made with a drapey silk front and organic cotton back. This piece would look great with tights and heeled boots for the rest of the winter, and with bare legs and heels when it warms up. Was $230, is now $155, at Juno & Jove.
This handmade tribal necklace is crafted in Canada from recycled leather and buffalo bone. Was $60, now $32 at Beklina.
