The prize? $1000 in cash, a $500 Threadless gift certificate, and the happy knowledge that 25% from the sale of each T-shirt will go to Earth Day Network “to grow, diversify, and mobilize the environmental movement through education, politics, events, and consumer activism.” Get your design in by April 1!

The Art of ReUse Contest. Can you turn trash into treasure? NBC’s Green Is Universal and Etsy have teamed up for this upcycling contest, which invites anyone “to create handcrafted items out of purely repurposed materials.”

The prize? An all-expenses paid trip to the Universal Studios Orlando theme park. There’s NBC shwag for first and second runners up — as well as lucky participants who weigh in on the public voting process. Get your best upcycling project in by April 11.

Mom on a Mission Award. Know a mom who should get eco-props? Nominate them for green nonprofit Healthy Child Healthy World’s award, created “to honor one special and inspiring American woman dedicated to creating healthier and happier environments for children and families.”

The prize? A $5,000 grant from Lifetime Television, plus recognition at a Healthy Child event. Get your nomination in by April 1.
