Yesterday I posted a video and information about the Environmental Defense Fund’s Less Carbon, More Jobs website. The website is designed to map out the state-by-state creation of green jobs should a carbon cap be instituted.

This idea of carbon restrictions leading to green jobs is not limited to the United States.  The United Kingdom is also looking at what the BBC has called a “low carbon revolution.”  This report discusses how a low carbon revolution could create up to 400,000 green jobs in the UK.

Unfortunately, the BBC has disabled embedding so you will have to click over to YouTube to watch the video, but it is worth the click – Government calls for green ‘new deal’.
