If you’re interested in capitalizing on the opportunities available in today’s pro-clean energy climate, then the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s Industry Growth Forum is the place to be. The forum will help clean energy startups learn more about venture capital, strategic partnerships and corporate investments. The event will run from Oct. 19-21, 2010 at the Denver Marriott Cit Center in Colorado.

This year’s event will include presentations from 34 emerging clean energy companies with the best presenters receiving a cash award as well as commercialization support from the NREL.

The NREL will award a $25,000 package to the best presentation, which includes $10,000 cash, $10,000 in-kind services from the NREL, and $5,000 in-kind services from Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati to help bring their ideas to commercial status. Two additional presentations will receive a $15,000 award package.

Representatives from these 34 companies will be able to take advantage of one-on-one networking sessions with industry leaders, attend a workshop to help them fine tune their private and public sector pitches, and even find out how to accelerate an idea from concept to market.

If you are interested in attending but aren’t yet ready to present, there are other registration options available including nonprofit, government and professional registrations. Early online registration ends today, but online registrations are accepted through Oct. 12.
