Solar Summer has begun. The General Services Administration has dubbed summer 2010 the Solar Summer because 31 solar installation projects on federal buildings across the country will be started thanks to funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. These solar projects, which are expected to generate 12 megawatts of renewable energy, will help put Americans to work building the nation's clean energy economy and give a boost to Recovery Act-related green jobs figures.
