As last week’s May 2012 unemployment report shows, the job recovery in the nation is moving ahead very slowly. With the war in the Middle East ending, more of our nation’s Veterans are returning to the workforce, putting more strain on the already shaky recovery. President Obama dedicated this week’s address, which was delivered from a Honeywell facility in Minnesota, to both the importance of employing Veterans as well as ways in which Congress can help strengthen the economic recovery.
