I thought you’d want to know about the sale that is going on now through Oct. 27, 2011, on the Envirosax website. All the bags on the site are half off and shipping is free when you use the code SPOOKY11 at check out. You need to order $50 worth of bags to get the deal, but in the end, it will only cost you $25.
I have one Envirosax bag that I’ve been using for a few years now. It folds up into a compact size and I keep it at the bottom of my handbag so it’s there when I need it. Cashiers at clothing stores often comment about how cute it is when I pull it out.
Envirosax is known for the cool graphics on their reusable bags. Their tagline is “the original designer reusable bag.” Their colorful, graphic bags are usually $8.95 a piece or $39.95 for a pouch of five bags in a particular graphic series (I’m partial to the bags in the Nomad series, some of them are pictured above). At half off, you can purchase a pouch of five bags for $20 and keep them for yourself, buy them for someone on your holiday list, or split them up and give them away to teachers, co-workers, child caretakers, and others who you want to give a small remembrance to at holiday time.
In addition to the graphic series, Envirosax offers a Greengrocer series, solid-colored bags to “suit the more conservative shopper” and an organic series with bags in linen, bamboo, hemp and organic cotton. For kids, there are the Sesame Street and Animal Planet series.
Between now and the end of the holidays, when there’s an offer like this one that I think my readers might be interested in, I’ll let you know about it. I know we’re all looking for smart, eco-friendly gifts that won’t bust the budget.
