The Organic Trade Association is looking for parents, teachers, educators, students and anyone else to vote for their schools in a contest to win an organic garden complete with seeds, soil and expert gardening support; or a fully stocked vending machine, which can feature organic items such as milk, fruit, cheese, yogurt and snacks.

Here’s what the Website says you need to know to enter and vote for your school.

This is obviously a way to get people to sign up for the newsletter, and schools that don’t receive at least 1,000 newsletter sign-ups aren’t eligible to win. But, if those in your school district can stand a little organic news in their inbox every now and then, it may be worth it to “vote” and give the kids in your school a chance to have access to better food.

The contest runs through 11:59 p.m. ET on May 1, 2010. For all official rules and regulations, click here
