Step six

Hammer in one nail at each side of the window at the top, angling each nail upward. Before you hang the shade, you'll need to staple or attach a slim piece of ribbon between the top and bottom dowel on both sides. (This is how you will raise and lower your shade.) Hang the window shade from the nails by laying the top bamboo stake across the nails, and hang it so that the bamboo stakes face the window. To open the window, roll the window shade up and use the thicker ribbon to tie the bottom bamboo stake to the top. Finally, tie your end-ribbons into bows!
